Job Title: Customer Service Representative
About the Company: Logistics and Transportation company is looking for a Customer Service Representative To provide effective and efficient customer service to all internal and external customers.
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Responsibilities:
· Develop an understanding of customer’s needs and take actions to ensure such needs are met;
· Ensure that customer service processes are followed; from order entry to delivery of goods;
· Determine best solutions for issues initiated by customers;
· Process customer orders promptly, including reviewing and checking orders according to established department policies and procedures;
· Manage open customer orders to ensure all orders are generated for picking and packing and able to be invoiced prior to each fiscal month’s end;
· Handle and resolve queries raised by customers, department managers and/or the finance department;
· Provide absence coverage to other members of the team.
Qualifications and Skills
· Minimum three years of related experience (3PL system or in the Freight Field)
· Results-driven and be effective in working independently
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Ability to effectively establish rapport, present information and respond to questions from managers and customers
· Ability to apply concepts of basic accounting
· Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; specifically, but not limited to MS Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint
· Skill and ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines
