Logistics Coordinator

About the Company: Third-party Logistics company is looking for Logistics Coordinator. They seek individuals who want to create a fast-paced, professional, growing environment. This is a collaborative team environment, and we are all responsible for the overall customer and carrier experience and have responsibility for all duties.

Type: Permanent, Full-Time, On-Site

Job Duties:

• Ensure the highest level of customer experience is provided.
• Managing your accounts from all aspects, and quoting / booking spot shipments (Booking loads, Customer service, track-trace and closing orders)
• Compliance with customer volume expectations (When volumes fall short, investigate why and advise management)
• Responding quickly to spot quotes and customer requests.
• Ensure carriers are qualified in WMS
• Perform work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of intermodal logistics experience in the transportation industry
• Excellent negotiation skills (English)
• Large network and excellent knowledge of cross-border and domestic carriers in the western Canada region
• Strong attention to details
• Ability to build rapport with both carriers and customers
